I adore this series. It is really the reason I'm a Christian today. I was losing faith when I read this book and Christy spoke perfectly of my situation.Who would turn down a summer in sun kissed California with laidback Aunt Marti and Uncle Bob, while being spoiled to death? Christy certainly did not think twice about leaving Wisconsin, or what would become of her faith and personal growth. She simply thought nothing was going to change, after all it was just a vacation and she already knew what she believed in, God. With the help of her "God-lover" friends, she learns what it truly means to be a Christian and accepts Christ into her heart.
The Christy Miller series is one of my favorite series I've ever read. Robin Jones Gunn is also one of my favorite authors. All of the volumes have 3 books in them. They are also fairly easy reads and the book length is pretty easy to get through without getting bored which is perfect for preteens and teeangers. You will not find any unnecessary language or inappropriatness in the series either. This first volume contains: Summer Promise, A Whisper and a Wish, and Yours Forever. The Christy

This is probably one of the best books that i have read. I have read a lot of books but this one is one of my favorites!! It is full of what teenagers actually go through at this age. I really love it!!!!!
Great book! Although i am not in my teenage years anymore and have been in the Lord for a few years, this book i believe allows young kids to connnecy and understand how the Lord moves and works. There are real life examples that Christy first handedly experiences herself. The author solves the issue and shows how God always pulls through! A great read! Teens young and old can definitely relate to thos book. Great revelation!
This is the best book i have read in a really long time! It really taught me alot about life. It taught me to open your heart up to God and let him in, and no matter the wrong you may do, He will always give you a second chance. In these three books, they taught me alot. Not only being an "awesome" romance book, it gave me a great decsription on what God can do for you, for example, He is always with you wherever you go, and though it may not feel like it, he knows you are talking to him and
