Description Supposing Books Masks
Chloe's identical twin sister Zoe wants a favor. She needs Chloe to dress up in her work clothes and meet an important client, pretending to be her. There's just one problem. Zoe isn't an investment banker as she's led everyone to believe - she's a dominatrix and her work clothes include a leather bustier, thigh-high boots and a feathered mask. There are three rules, according to Zoe - don't lose control of the situation, don't have sex with the client, and never take off the mask.Shy, retiring Chloe has no idea how to go about dominating anyone. But that won't be a problem for long because the "client," Mark Jacobs, is a hot alpha male in a black leather mask of his own who prefers to take the lead when it comes to sex.
Soon Chloe is breaking all the rules for one night of forbidden passion but when she decides to take off her mask and asks Mark to do the same, she has no idea that the black leather he wears conceals a dark secret that may change her life forever.

This is a short erotic read. It was decent enough if not a little cheesy at times. It did have a mini plot but was mostly fluff. Very erotic! ;) The characters were well written, but since it was so short, there wasn't a lot of build up. I liked Mark and the ending was sweet! When Chloe's twin sister Zoe asks her to swap places with her, she's hesitant. The last time they switched was in high school and it didn't turn out well for Chloe. Zoe has sprained her ankle and needs Chloe to pretend to be her with one of her new clients. The kicker ... Zoe isn't really the investment banker her family thinks she is. She's actually a dominatrix. After being assured she doesn't have to have sex with the guy and gets to wear a mask, Chloe agrees, although she's scared and
Wow, this book was a nice surprise! I'm not going to write a plot summary because the publisher's description pretty much says it all. Well, Mark's secret isn't dark at all, but we all know how some publishers tend to be melodramatic sometimes...Overall, this was very good for a short story. Mark and Chloe were very likable, the plot was interesting and not too complicated, and the love scenes were sexy, steamy and sweet. Yes, I said sweet, which could be strange considering the book's premise

What a surprisingly good, sexy, sweet, and short read! The publisher blurb did a great job and letting readers know what they're in for in this short novella length story, so I'm not going to go into any recapping. One main thing I do want to point out is that readers may *assume* they're going to get a little BDSM with the disclosure of a domme, but you really don't. It's more like very light bondage. Instead, the newbie-seducers (aka. the hero and heroine on a blind-datish set up) almost take
My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book...Masks was my 1st try of Evangeline Anderson and I think it was a sweet novella. The problem, if thats what I can call it, was the character of Zoe who was pretty annoying. Also, it being a novella, I felt things were a bit rushed. Other than that, I liked it and EAs writing style.Chloe and Zoe are identical twins. Whereas Chloe is the studious, shy and a bit socially inept, Zoe is lets just say shes total
Pure fantasy, and an excellent one, too. I'm not sure I'd call it erotica -- maybe erotic-y? Anyway, just about perfect for a romance reader who craves a little hot and spicy, (and there's some sweet, too) with the heat level coming more from the exciting situation than from anything the characters actually do. It's a short, quick read but has everything a story needs, and how many free ebooks can you say that about. Will definitely look for this author again.
