Evaluate Regarding Books Hawk (Quiet Professionals #2)
Hawk is book two in The Quiet Professionals series. Raptor 6 is book one. This series is truly ongoing from book to book. Each story builds on the one before it as more of the terrorist plot is revealed and Raptor team comes closer to discovering who is out to get them. Once again, just as in Raptor 6, we see the story through the eyes of both the hero and heroine, but we also get glimpses into the minds of the terrorists. This builds some great tension in the book. Seeing the villains lay out

I adored Hawk in the first book of the series, Raptor 6. He had some funny witty banter to deliver to the team and is almost like the bad apple of the family, but will protect them with his life! There was a lot of action and events happening in this book, all which added to keeping my interest to see how it will end. Fekira, I still have some mixed feeling on her, not sure yet if I like her or like her for Hawk. I did enjoy to see her character growth and how to Christians had a very strong

No one likes being a pawn, especially Brian Hawk Bledsoe. Hes a tough as nails soldier, tenacious to the bone. Possessing an indomitable spirit, he is faced with grueling challenges. In brutal conditions, he must make painful choices forced upon him by merciless enemies that will test him in every way. Will he come out the victor? Fekiria Haidary has reason to be protective. Her secret is a big one and could cost her her life. She maintains a delicate balance in her undertaking, always fearing

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Disclaimers: I received an e-galley of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review. The Characters: After reading the first in the series, Hawk was a character that I wanted to know more about. This book provided those answers. I thought that Kendig did a good job of bringing him to life. He was a surprisingly good character and I enjoyed watching

My first attempt to read "Hawk" was unsuccessful. Partly because I had not read book #1 and felt lost and partly because of the anger built up in Hawk's character. I made a second attempt after reading book #1 and was much more successful and liked Hawk's character better. Overall, the book was good. Not my favorite, but still worth a read. One thing that bugged me was the use of fake cuss words. They were close enough to the real thing to know what was meant but just seemed a bit wimpy for the

This is series is ridiculously well-written. "Hawk" continued the narrative of "Raptor 6" seamlessly. It is intense, hard to put down, and heart-wrenching! You can feel the bitter cold and pain; you get sucked into the lives of these characters and can't wait to find out what happens next.

Trouble seems to surround Special Ops soldier Brian Hawk Bledsoe on every front; like a mist blanketing the ground at early dawn. Trained as a communications specialist for an elite team; code name Raptor; his brilliant mind, handsome face and fiery temper put him in the middle of danger on multiple levels; especially when he anonymously befriends Fekeria Haidary; cousin to his captains girlfriend and an under-the-radar member of the Afghan National Army. Fekeria Haidary, otherwise known as
