Hunted is book two in the Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson.I like to give a series a two or three book try before I say Im going to stop. Hunted was not my cup of tea. I was hoping for something different and sadly I was disappointed. You may wonder why did I read the whole book well the only reason I read Hunted to the end was to get the set-up story for our next couple which are featured in, book three, Sought.Sophia was a very disappointing heroine. She was feisty and2.5 starsRe-readEntertaining, over-the-top, silly and full of romantic cliché. Just what I needed. The only downside was the annoying and whinny heroine.

This was even better than Claimed. I couldn't stop laughing. I think it was because Baird always knew what he was saying to Liv was provocative and dirty, whereas Sylvan is being serious as a heart attack. when he makes these outrageous sexual comments. He might as well be reading the Wall Street Journal.I have to hand it to Ms. Anderson. She has a real gift for making sex NECESSARY FOR SURVIVAL in her stories. I keep reading to see why it is they HAVE to get busy this time. Favorite Part: The
There is clearly something wrong with me. I didn't like the first book - the characters were flat and uninteresting (even downright annoying), and I didn't think I'd pick up anything else in this series at all. Yet I was intrigued by Sylvan. He seemed to have a little more depth than Baird, and Sophie had a bit of fire in the first book.. it could be an interesting mix!.. it wasn't. Just so you know. Sophie lost any ounce of respectability that she had gained in Book 1. Far from being feisty and
